Terms of Service

SnapCuller grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal or commercial photography workflows:

• Lifetime License: Perpetual access to the version purchased.
• Updates: Includes minor updates (e.g., v1.1 to v1.2) for free. Major upgrades may require a fee.
• Quantity: Maximum of two (2) devices per license key.

To keep the project sustainable, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer or decompile the software
• Rent, lease, or sublicense to third parties
• Use for illegal activities or prohibited content
• Distribute license keys publicly

SnapCuller integrates automated AI Smart Culling helpers (ratings, face check, burst duplicates pruning). By using these tools, you agree to the following terms:

• AI as an Assistant: The ratings, keeper scores, and warnings generated by SnapCuller's AI are advisory recommendations. The photographer retains final decision-making control over all curation, catalog selections, and file modifications.
• Local System Compatibility: For local AI workflows (Ollama), performance and accuracy are entirely dependent on your local system hardware (CPU/GPU capabilities) and the specific model weights loaded by the user.
• No Liability for Physical Deletions: SnapCuller and its creators are not liable for any loss, accidental deletion, soft-focus keeper misses, or file corruption resulting from manual bucket operations, batch renaming, or AI physical routing. Always maintain an independent, secure backup of your original memory cards before culling.
